Services

HRS Entertainment provides a professional services, there is no event too large or small. DJ Chris can provide the music, whatever the occasion. He specializes in Greek Events old and Modern and has a vast collection of music spanning back several decades bringing back the joys of the past or modern with the latest RnB, Hip Hop, House, Garage Music, Latin and Arabic music.

Weddings – At HRS we believe that the musical entertainment is the fundamental element for making any party a success. The quality of the sounds and clarity of the music will provide a lasting impression for your guests, making your wedding one to remember.

Corporate – Our experience allows us to cater for corporate events and provide something entertaining and exceptionally professional, we use only the latest equipment and technologies.

Private Parties – These can include anything from anniversaries, surprise birthday parties, baptisms or any other type of party, HRS will cater for your needs on that special day. You choose what sounds you wish to here.

Bars and Clubs - For Bars and clubs the music we provide will be seamlessly mixed for that energetic feel taking your customers on a journey they will remember.

Coupled with the intrinsic sound quality HRS can provided an advanced lighting system that will set the mood for your event. Whether your party is held in a small or large hall or marquee we can provide the lighting and atmosphere to astonish your guests.

About

HRS Entertainment is owned by DJ Chris Theoharous, Chris has been in the entertainment business for over 20 years and has been offering his DJ services for a variety of events including Weddings, Baptisms, Corporate, Private Parties and Clubs.

Chris began his career providing DJ services to London nightclubs and expanded to DJ in various clubs across the world including the France, Italy, Greece and Cyprus. As his career progressed he decided to offer services for Corporate and Private Events diversifying his musical style, his skill allowing for entertaining combinations to suit any event.

As the years of experience accumulate it became apparent that providing a complete package which would include the sound system and lighting would only enhance the customers’ experience. After which point he decided to provide advanced professional equipment to ensure the needs of the event could be fully catered for.

Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings

1.1 The Client shall ensure that the information relating to the venue are correct, the HRS Entertainment personnel will inspect the premise and discuss with the client to resolve the matter.

1.2 Approximately 90 minutes of set up time or more will be required for setting up the music equipment and lighting if booked for the event. The client should indicate the access points and parking facilities available prior to the event. Approximately 90 minutes will be required at the end of the event to set down the music equipment and lighting.

1.3 HRS Entertainment confirms that there will be no conflicting bookings for the given date and the Client confirms that they have not hired an alternate company or service provider for the given date.

1.4 All bookings require the agreed booking fee to be paid by the Client in full prior to the event. The payment of the fee pertains to a binding contract for services to be rendered. Failure to pay the booking fee will allow us to alter our work schedule without notice.

2. Payments

2.1 Paying by Cash: cash is accepted for payment of the booking fee and the final amount due payable after the event.

2.2 Paying by Cheque: If you would like to pay by cheque please make it payable to "Chris Theoharous" and write your surname and the date of your event on the back.

2.3 Paying by Bank Transfer: When paying by Internet banking transfer (BACS) please ensure you include your name and date of the event.

2.4 Failure to pay the final amount owed at the end of the event will result in legal action being undertaken after a period of 30 days after the date of the event.

3. Cancellations

3.1 When the booking date has been confirmed HRS Entertainment will hold the booking date exclusively for you the Client and will ensure no overlap in bookings will occur. In the event the event is cancelled less than 7 days from the event date a cancellation fee of £100 is payable. Cancellations must be made in writing or by email.

3.2 If the Client cancels within 30 days prior to the event the cancellation fee is 100% of the balance outstanding, but cancellation before then the only penalty will be the loss of the pre-paid booking fee.

3.3 In the event the event cancellation is beyond the Clients control the booking fee will be returned in full and no cancellation fee will be charge.

3.4 HRS Entertainment and the personnel sent to the event will do their utmost to fulfil their obligations to the best of their abilities, however any HRS personnel cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond their control.

4. Conduct

4.1 The Client is responsible for the behaviour and actions of all guests especially when this behaviour is directed towards HRS Entertainment personnel. Inadequate behaviour will not be tolerated and immediate discussions would occur with the Client to resolve these issues.

4.2 The Client will be liable for any loss of or damage to the equipment provided by HRS Entertainment or the personnel belongings of personnel and the DJ if caused by guests attending the function or venue staff.

4.3 Violent, aggressive or abusive behaviour towards HRS Entertainment personnel or the DJ will be tolerated in any way shape or form. In this event the contract and obligations of HRS Entertainment will be cancelled and any authorities’ duly notified. It is not the responsibility of HRS Entertainment or the DJ to eject unwanted persons from the venue.

4.4 For events arrange for minors or underage persons, the Client ensure that there is the legal ratio of responsible persons for the minors.

4.5 HRS Entertainment personnel and the DJ will act in a responsible manor at all time during their attendance at the event. HRS Entertainment will endeavour to install any equipment provided for the event as discuss with the Client prior to event however in the event there are legal obligations to fulfil these will be pointed out to the Client.

4.6 HRS Entertainment will provide the necessary certificates of Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and Portable Appliance Testing (P.A.T).

5. Security

5.1 The Client will be responsible for the safety and security of any equipment supplied by HRS Entertainment and the personal items of the DJ.

5.2 HRS Entertainment will not be held responsible for any damage to the venue; any potential hazards must be pointed out by the Client or the venue staff at the time of setup.

5.3 The Client is responsible for any damage to HRS Entertainment equipment caused by any persons at the event. Any damage to HRS Entertainment equipment will be reported to the client immediately and the client will be charged the full cost of any repairs.

6. Health and Safety

6.1 HRS Entertainment personnel and the DJ will adhere to the regulations of the HSE EAW Act 1989, to which The Client must also adhere. Failure to conform to these regulations by the Client will ensue that the full amount of the event services agreed will require payment prior to the DJ commencing.

6.2 In the event of fire, flooding, public disturbances, or any other threats to the public safety, it is not the responsibility of HRS Entertainment personnel or the DJ to aid in the evacuation of the venue or building where the event is being held, unless the fire regulations for the venue specify otherwise.

7. The Venue

7.1 The Client must allow adequate time for the installation and dismantling, and removal of any HRS Entertainment equipment. The Client must ensure that there is a safe and adequate power supply available. HRS Entertainment will ensure that any equipment that requires connection to a power source is electrically safe and conforms to the HSE EAW Act 1989, and any amendments thereafter.

7.2 The Client must ensure that the entire venue has all relevant licences, and conforms to all the local bye-laws, confirmation must be made to HRS Entertainment prior to the event taking place. The DJ will not perform in a venue that fails to provide adequate licences.

7.3 The Client must ensure that there is adequate parking for HRS Entertainment personnel and the DJ on the night of the event allowing for equipment to be off loaded in a safe and secure manner. The Client will be liable to any theft of HRS Entertainment equipment that may occur in the designated parking area.

7.4 HRS Entertainment will not be held responsible if the performance and event are delayed as a result of failed access to the venue at the specified times, no refund will be applicable in such an event.

7.5 HRS Entertainment personnel and the DJ reserve the right to refuse to continue any event prior to the start should there not be sufficient space for safe installation of the equipment supplied for the event.

8. Refreshments

8.1 The Client is required to supply adequate no alcoholic refreshments to the DJ whilst performing at the event within reason, this we would ask as a courtesy given the DJs inability to leave their station.
